How much does a chimney sweep cost?
£100. That includes the full sweep, smoke draw test, and HETAS certificate issued on the day.
How often should I have my chimney swept?
HETAS recommends at least twice a year if you burn wood, and at least once a year for smokeless fuel. The best time is just before the heating season — typically September or October.
What does the sweep include?
A full brush and vacuum clean of the complete flue length, smoke draw test, and HETAS certificate on completion. Dust sheets down before we start. No mess left behind.
How long does a chimney sweep take?
Between 45 minutes and 90 minutes depending on the appliance and flue condition.
